Libya Slave Trade: 1,295 Nigerians returned home in November – NEMA
Security agencies were on ground to receive the returnees from Libya.

1,295 Nigerians evacuated from Libya in November – NEMA
1,295 Nigerians have willingly returned from Libya in November after being trapped in the embattled country in a bid to cross to Europe.The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) revealed the information on Thursday
The Director General of NEMA, Alhaji Mustapha Maihajja, disclosed the number of returnees, while receiving a new batch of 150 Nigerians who returned to Nigeria on Thursday
The Nigerians came back to the country in different batches between Nov. 6 and Nov. 30 with the support of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) andthe European Union (EU).
